It is officially 2026, and Disney After Hours is back and more popular than ever. The first Disney After Hours 2026 event of the year at Magic Kingdom just sold out. This proves that the demand for low-crowd, late-night park access is at an all-time high.
If you are planning a trip to Walt Disney World this year, here is everything you need to know about the 2026 Disney After Hours events.
What is Disney After Hours?
Disney After Hours is a separately ticketed event that allows a limited number of guests to stay in the parks for three hours after they officially close. The main draw is the significantly lower wait times for the most popular attractions. In addition, the “free” perks don’t hurt either, especially during Disney After Hours 2026.
Every ticket includes:
- Complimentary Snacks: Unlimited Mickey Ice Cream Bars, fruit bars, popcorn, and bottled sodas/water.
- Early Entry: You can enter the park as early as 7:00 PM, even though the event officially starts later.
- Low Crowds: Disney caps attendance strictly, so most rides are near walk-ons. Attending a Disney After Hours 2026 night truly feels exclusive.
2026 Event Breakdown by Park

Disney’s Hollywood Studios
This is the “character” park for Disney After Hours 2026. Beyond the Star Wars hype, guests have reported seeing rare characters like Duffy the Disney Bear and Pinocchio.

- Hours: Typically 9:30 PM – 12:30 AM.
- Price: $155 – $189 ($30 discount for Annual Passholders and DVC).
Note: Keep an eye on the calendar, as the Disney After Hours 2026 line-up changes a bit—Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is closing permanently on March 2nd to be re-themed to The Muppets, opening later this summer!
EPCOT
EPCOT After Hours in 2026 is the best way to ride Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind without the stress of a Virtual Queue or Lightning Lane, especially if you’re attending one of the Disney After Hours 2026 events.
- Dates: Select nights from January 22 to September 24, 2026.
- Hours: 9:30 PM – 12:30 AM.
- Price: $155 – $179 ($30 discount for Annual Passholders and DVC).
- Must-Do: The DJ Dance Party at CommuniCore Plaza with Goofy.
Is it Worth It in 2026?
With prices reaching nearly $200 for Magic Kingdom, the value of Disney After Hours 2026 depends on your priorities:
- The “One and Done” Strategy: If you only have one night and want to ride everything without buying Lightning Lane Multi Pass for a week, this is a winner.
- The Atmosphere: Walking through a nearly empty Galaxy’s Edge or World Showcase at midnight is a completely different (and better) vibe than the daytime rush during Disney After Hours 2026.
- The 7 PM Head Start: Since you can enter at 7:00 PM, you effectively get 6 hours of park time. If you use those first three hours to watch fireworks and eat dinner, you can spend the actual event time purely on rides.
Final Thoughts
Book early. The January 12th Disney After Hours 2026 event sold out before it even began. If you are eyeing a spring break or early summer date, buy your tickets the moment they are available (usually 60 days out for most, or earlier for resort guests).
